Oil and gas installation

Boskalis delivers fully integrated solutions for the offshore installation of oil and gas production facilities. This includes seabed intervention, landfall construction and trenching, offshore transport and installation (T&I) of jackets and topsides. In addition, we offer services to floating structures such as SPARs and floating production, storage and offloading units (FPSOs) including mooring installation, station keeping and hook-up, and subsea installation of umbilicals, risers and flow lines (SURF). With VBMS we offer cable laying services.

Our installation activities bring together a range of fields of expertise to create comprehensive, cost-effective solutions that are specifically tailored to meet your needs. With the Boskalis, Dockwise and Fairmount fleets, we offer fully integrated solutions supported by in-house engineering, procurement and dedicated project management capabilities.

As your main contractor, we can streamline execution by managing sub-contractors and communicating with stakeholders.

Offshore T&I

Boskalis delivers fully integrated solutions for the installation of offshore oil and gas production facilities, whether fixed (shallow water) or floating (deep water).

Mooring installation, station keeping and hook-up

With our anchor handling tugs and other specialist offshore support vessels we provide heading control and positioning, mooring system installations and riser hook-up services.

Seabed intervention

Seabed intervention includes scour protection and subsea rock installation.

Landfall construction and trenching

Landfalls and shore approaches include digging and filling trenches, laying pipelines and hydrotesting.

Thien Ung installation

Boskalis has installed the Thien Ung BK-TNG 4,200 meter topside and 850 meter living quarter by offshore heavy lifting with the sheerleg Asian Hercules III. It was the world’s heaviest lift installation of a topside by a sheerleg in an offshore environment to date.
