Capital dredging of a new berth on the River Clyde for the historic tall sailing ship 'Glenlee' and marina area in the adjoining River Kelvin.

The Admiral Day grab dredger was mobilised to remove approximately 10,500m3 material from within the Glenlee berth. The material was temporarily placed within a safe area at the centre of the River Clyde for later removal by the Trailing Suction Hopper Dredger ‘W.D. Mersey’. Once all the material was removed from the berth dredging area and placed in the river, the ‘WD Mersey’ was mobilised to remove this material by trailing suction methods to the permanent disposal ground at Cloch Point in the Clyde estuary.
